Darren King

Darren King is a researcher, podcaster and consciousness educator deeply engaged in the exploration of human potential. Darren is the creator of three popular and often-referenced podcasts: Point of Convergence, Liminal Phrames, and Event Horizon. Each of these engages with the contact phenomenon and its implications for humanity. Darren is also the founder of the Essence of Being initiative, offering online courses and in-person retreats geared towards consciousness development. From Darren’s perspective, the question of human potential—and even of human nature—is intrinsically connected to our understanding of the “non-dual” nature of reality itself.

With this in mind, Darren’s focus includes an investigation into how non-ordinary state experiences of expanded consciousness transform people’s perspectives on life’s most consequential questions. The experiences Darren explores include: contact with non-human and non-conventionally-human intelligence, near-death experiences, and the range of experiences that speak to the reality of psi, or extra-sensory perception. This focus on recognizing and developing human potential builds upon our innate drive toward an ever-expanding, emergent awareness, with an eye toward the daunting global challenges we all face, which will require a new "center of gravity" for being human in order to be adequately addressed.

A key component of the UFO contact experience is the dawning of a "non-dual" perspective. As a result, the transformational nature of the experience ends up being as much about the revelation of who we are as who they are and, indeed, what this (i.e., reality) is.
