Diana Walsh Pasulka

Diana Pasulka is a professor of Religious Studies, author of American Cosmic and Encounters, and a leading scholar exploring the intersections of belief, technology, and the anomalous. Her work investigates how contemporary experiences of the extraordinary—particularly those involving UAP—reshape religious imagination, challenge epistemic boundaries, and give rise to new ontologies. Drawing on ethnographic research, media theory, and historical inquiry, she approaches the "impossible" not as a fringe category, but as a central feature of modern meaning-making.
